Lynn C. Thompsons love of Filipino Martial Arts encouraged this collaboration with Mike Wallace on the Luzon (LOO-ZAHN) folder. Inspired by several balisongs in Lynns collection, but functioning as a flipper, the Luzons are a politically correct alternative for those who are unable to legally own balisongs. The Luzons blades are comprised of 8Cr13MoV Stainless, and expertly hardened to 57-58 Rockwell and feature sharp, strong, points with just enough belly to make them equally useful for cutting and slashing. Youll be dreaming of the Philippines once you experience the Luzons bamboo-inspired handles, featuring concave segments that offer countless comfortable grip options. Made of glass-filled nylon (GFN), the Luzons handles are impervious to the elements, and are unlike any handle weve ever made before. Handsome and budget friendly, and a breeze to flip open, the Luzons are a formidable choice for those going in harms way. Offering incomparable levels of safety, theyre equipped with a sturdy leaf-spring lock and a (patent-pending) secondary safety mechanism that, when its engaged is extremely resistant to shock and impact. Your fingers will be safe even under the worst conditions. Available in two sizes, both feature a lanyard hole.

Very fun to deploy,

This knife has great ergonomics. It deploys very easily, perhaps to easily. It is very crisp and snappy on the deploy, the knife is very smooth on the deploy and the action is extremely easy to execute with the flipper or stud. The thumb stud is a good height, and the indention it goes into is very comfy as a grip and on the deploy. I don't feel the "sliding lock" mechanism on the back is really necessary. I think a triad lock might take this knife to the next level. Its a fun knife, it flips easy and stows easy, it kinda wants to deploy on its own. The steel is equivalent to Aus8, which is fine for most everything a knife like this is going to encounter. Razor sharp out of the box. Material on the handle is like a hard plastic, some texture, no complaints. The only thing preventing this knife from being my A+ favorite for price and practicality is how very easily it deploys with little effort. This is its best feature and worst. The knife can deploy fully without use of the stud or quillion - by making a hammer strike motion and just playing around with different grips it deployed fully with minimal effort. IF you really want to you, you can wave it open un-assisted by any mechanism, just inertia. Keep that in mind. For my purposes, this thing is awesome, super fun, easily 1 handed. Its a fidget knife, but massive, which i like

Yes, I recommend this product.

Love this knife, I have had it for over 6 years now and I have put it to work that would make most knife lovers cry from chopping wood for a bonfire to beating it into redbull cans to make a temporary fix for my truck and the most it’s ever needed was a few passes on a wet stone amazing knife amazing quality definitely recommend

Yes, I recommend this product.

Good knife for the money

Bought the large one and loved it so much I bought a second one in black. I carry it daily. Wish they would make Deluxe model with a really good steel, g10 scales and a Benchmade type locking system

Big knife

Love this knife. I use it for large boxes and other tear-down jobs. It's light weight and fast opening. Still fits in my pocket
