This addition to our Drop Forged line of knives has total length of 14 in. and features a 9 1/2 in. blade, it shares many of the same attributes of the other knives in the series, including the same robust construction, being forged as a single piece of steel, giving it a startling amount of strength. But, unlike the other Drop Forged knives, it has distinctive faux stag slabs incorporated into the handle. The blade is flat ground to a moderately thin edge and is then honed to razor sharpness. The point of the blade is acute enough to offer deep penetration, and the balance point is just in front of the guard making it lively in the hand and only slightly blade heavy. Like the other knives in the Drop Forged Series, it comes with a military grade, Secure-Ex sheath that includes a detachable Cordura belt loop.

One of the BEST bowie knives for the money

I purchased this in summer 2020, have carried it almost daily. This bowie feels amazing, and it’s definitely worth the money. The only things I really think you should consider changing is One- please sharpen the back of the clip point, this will be a great defensive bowie and it should have the capability of dealing a back cut. Two- I personally would love the blade an inch or so longer, 10.5-11”. Your Laredo was my previous choice for daily carry and it’s length was perfect. The handle scales could really stand to be made of something like the Survivalist at least, the imitation bone looks cheap but it’s a minor detail. This knife is bar none the most comfortable and flat bowie I’ve seen. It carries unnoticed. The sheath is nice-I haven’t seen need to buy a secondary one yet. I certainly wish you’d make a Bagwell style Hell’s Belle type bowie in this series (or any series!) the quality is excellent but it wouldn’t let me click 5 star?!

Yes, I recommend this product.

Strongest construction with a cool handle curve

When it comes to durability, this drop-forged series comes into top tier. I like the steel used, the shape of it, the curved handle. In thing that I didn't like: Synthethic handle scales IN MY OPINION this looks like cheap reproduction from the bazar. It would look way cooler with a rubber, G10 or anything that does not try to imitate any other material but simply IS the material. This idea to get "fancy" simply didn't worked for me. When I look at the knife I don't want to think "imitation". Standard drop forged handle from survivalist looks better #imho.
