The new Blackthorn Staff (almost 5 ft. long) represents the culmination of years of costly research and development in the world of injection molding and high-impact polymer production. This king-sized hiking staff, with its rustic wood-effect texturing, "clipped thorn" nodules and polished faux-wood knob is sure to be an unusual and much talked about part of any collection.

The Upgrade You'll Want to the Walking Stick

I've used for years the Irish Blackthorn Walking Stick when hiking, but on the step-ups and step-downs when traversing wet, rocky terrain, sometimes found the reach a little short while using it to assure my footing. Not so with the Blackthorn Staff! I'm 5'7" and this is the perfect reach for me! Also, knowing the thing is darn near indestructible means I'm not afraid to put as much weight or force behind it it as I need to.
Yes, I recommend this product.
