Q: How often do these need to be replaced?
7 years ago1 Answer
- A: MONITORING THE FILTER: Inspect filter every six months. If flow slows to less than 3 GPM or differential pressure reaches 20-25 psid, change filter. If functioning properly, change annually. Failure to replace filter could cause internal filter rupture, resulting in contamination downstream. FOR HYDROSORB, HYDROGLASS, AND MULTI-FUEL FILTERS: If you suspect water contamination, remove the filter and pour the contents into a jar. If fuel is cloudy or water separates at the bottom of the jar, the filter is likely plugged with water. If water is excessive in the jar, it may be necessary to have the tank cleaned or drained prior to further use.7 years agoHelpful?
