Q: Is there a way to use the grills electrinic ignition to light the charcoal without lighter fluid? Or, do you use charcoal fluid and a lighter for the charcoal side? Does it have a easy way to clean out the used charcoal?

- A: The electronic ignition cannot be used to to light the chacoal side of this grill. A chimney starter is a great way to get coals going. Grates broke, crank and inser fell apart after 1.5 years. It was kept out of the weather.

Great purchase

Had it for 12 years. Used at least weekly for 8 years. Rarely stored because used through winter (on patior, central Wisconsin). Will likely replace with same grill.
Great for quick gas grilling burgers/steaks. Charcoal side gread for using wood for picanha, charcoal for more leisure and flavor.

Rusted in first year.

Disappointed. The chrome handles and the grates rusted in the first year. Wasted $$$ on buying the cover.
Also the back 6” of the gas cooking area is twice as hot as first six inches. Poor gas jet layout.
