The CenFlex 330 ft. x 5 in. Flexible Horse Fence Rail attaches directly to the end fence posts using specialized Sure-Fit tensioner and termination brackets. The length of the high-tensile fence rail is held in place with custom line post brackets that allow the rail to slip freely, providing rail flexibility and easy adjustment. CenFlex has the traditional look of board fencing without high maintenance costs. The CenFlex flexible rail will not splinter, rust, rot or crack. Enjoy decades of secure containment with minimal maintenance and no painting required. Safer than wood or PVC, the high-tensile technology of CenFlex can hold up to 4,200 lb. of break strength, safeguarding your horse from serious injury due to splinters or impact. CenFlex rail may be used in a variety of horse fence combinations. CenFlex can also be used as a top rail over the signature single strand Poly Plus (non-electric) or White Lightning (electric) fence. Q: How are these fences finished at the edges and transitioned to gate panels? I am not seeing that there are recommended tensioner for the ends and not sure how to do that. Will they loosen up over time?

- A: This fence rail attaches at end post and slips freely through the line post brackets to allow rail flexibility. CenFlex has the classic appearance of traditional rail fencing without the rotting, warping, splintering, brittleness and paint-flaking associated with wood and rigid PVC or vinyl. Product may be used in two-, three- or four-rail combinations and can be used as a top rail over woven wire horse fence. CenFlex should be installed on 4 in. to 6 in. wood line post and 6 in. in to 8 in. wood termination and corner post. Bracing and concrete is recommended at gates and corners but not on straight runs of line post. Occasional washing may be necessary to refresh fence appearance.5 years agoHelpful?
Q: Can this Cenflex be installed on 2 1/2" vertical chain link posts?

- A: The Cenflex product cannot be installed on a Chain Link post. These posts are not strong enough to handle impact and will bend over at the ground level. If you wish to use metal posts we recommend schedule 40 pipe in thickness and at least a 2 3/8" diameter line post and 4" termination post.7 years agoHelpful?
Q: Can stock fence be stapled to the CenFlex flexible horse fence rail?

- A: No. Typically customers will align the stock fence right under the CenFlex Bracket. If staples are applied to CenFlex it will cause possible tearing of the polymer coating as well as prevent the fence from flexing upon impact.7 years agoHelpful?

We used this for a round corral, and it worked great. To be honest we did our own thing with it and used flat metal strap brackets normally used for rafters as the ends, and pulled it tight with a C-clamp and winch. The brackets made it super simple to put up and hold tight. It looks great and I figure it would have cost the same amount for wood, and taken twice as long. We are very happy with our choice.

We put up ~1500 ft of three rail horse fence with this product. IF you follow the installation instructions to a T this is a great product that looks fantastic and provides a low maintenance animal safe enclosure. It's more work than you might think as a DIY project, but take your time and you will be satisfied with the outcome
