Q: Just giving anyone a heads up...unfortunately I can confirm this DOES NOT FIT Shelby 5133 series and assume that also applies for all Shelby 5000 series.

Once you do figure it out, the 25 year old coupler I replaced functioned 1000x better.

I just bought this -- wish I had read the reviews first. A drawing and instructions must be included with the kit or it is worthless. Also overpriced compared to some very similar products on- line. I needed this part right away due to an emergency or I would have ordered a different brand on line.

Just bought this repair kit to replace my sloppy hitch. First off there were no instructions included to illustrate the exact install order of the parts. As I assembled the hitch it became clear the hole in which the threaded bolt fits in was not drilled large enough to allow the vertical movement of the hitch catch. After several attempts of trying to adjust the hitch to allow proper release of the ball I removed the hitch and will go with a different brand as this one is JUNK!

This was an easy repair. There are no instructions in package. The only tip,that would have been helpful, would have been to explain that you need to put the nut in the socket your using to tighten, then push socket with nut firmly to compress springs and tighten.

I bought this today and it was disassembled in the package, with no instructions. As I have never repaired or replaced a coupler before and since my last one broke off in transit, it was a little difficult to figure out the exact way to install it. Thanks to the internet though I completed it. There should be instructions or a website link hence the 3 stars.

Spent a lengthy amount of time trying to find instructions. I called customer service and was never able to talk to a live person. The carry on website does not help either. Finally found a reply to a Q&A that had an email link that responded with a very basic hand drawn diagram.
