For the price the pet gate was alright however, the description mentions that the gate will fit openings up to 39 inches and while it might possibly fit the opening, it is quite loose and could be knocked down. It would require firing strips with a 39 inch doorway. The construction of the pet gate is also very light and not nearly as hardy as one previously purchased.
