The Cardinal Gates Deck Shield (Model DS) is great for keeping children and pets safe from openings in deck and balcony railings by securely adding a protective yet see-through barrier that will not obstruct your view. This black safety netting is made of strong UV-protected polypropylene plastic yet can be cut to the desired size using household scissors. The netting is 36-In. tall by 15-Ft. long has 1/2 in. square holes and is quick and easy to install with the included zip ties.Note: This product may require up to 2 additional days for order processing prior to shipping

Q: I am trying to keep the cats out of the porch, but I have regular screen on the porch and they keep tearing it. Will this hold up?

- A: This safety netting is more durable than standard window or porch screen and is designed to resist tearing from pets and children. However, it is still a flexible netting material, so while it may hold up better against light scratching or incidental contact, determined cats that actively claw or climb may still be able to damage it over time. For heavy scratchers, a reinforced pet screen or rigid mesh barrier would provide stronger long-term protection.3 months agoHelpful?
Q: Would this keep rabbits out of vegetable garden?

- A: Hello, thank you for your question. It is not ideal for keeping rabbits out of a vegetable garden. It is made from polypropylene plastic which is not very resistant to chewing. A determined rabbit will be able to chew through this netting.a year agoHelpful?
Q: What about the bottom? I’m using this for pets & there’s a bottom gap in the railing. Would they easily be able to squeeze through the fence underneath. It doesn’t look solid

- A: Yes, the Outdoor Safety Netting comes with both zip ties and screw hooks so that to attach it to the railing. There is no reason it couldn't be used indoors. You may want to install it without using the screw hooks or only use those on the walls.7 years agoHelpful?
Q: Does it come in white? That would be less obvious on an apartment balcony, to keep a cat from harm.

This material was not as sturdy as advertised. It was supposed to have a solid top border & pics looked like a thicker gauge. I hope it can last until my puppy gets bigger and I feel safe on the 3rd floor balcony...
No, I do not recommend this product.
