Really saves my back!

I got this jack to use around my sawmill and it does everything I can't! I use it to level my sawmill, roll massive logs, and lift logs that are frozen to the ground. Well worth it, I don't know how I worked without it. However, make sure you maintain it well, as mine started to stick.

Only for VERY LIGHT duty jobs

I bought this about 6 weeks ago from TSC. Have used it about 10 times to lift one side or the other of my Dodge RAM 1500 in my shop. Although I'm only a 160 lb man, the cast handle socket broke clean off. Please see attached photos. After seeing how much a replacement part was ($18 or so) I may try to make an exchange or return the jack to TSC. I can't find my receipt so this may be a lost cause for me. I wouldn't recommend this simply because this product doesn't hold up to what's it's supposed to do. Maybe if you are doing VERY LIGHT duty lifting, it would suffice.

Bad Quality. Not rated properly

A few issues. After having my Jack for 30 days, I finally was out in a situation to use it. I had a flat tire on my vehicle, so used the farm Jack to lift it up to change the tire. 1) the farm Jack started to bend while jacking up my Bronco. It is still bent now. 2) when attempting to lower the Jack, it would not disengage properly for lowering. The pin and springs would stick and not actuate correctly. This farm jack is not intended for anything over 2 tons. And since I am outside my return window, I now have a farm jack that is too dangerous to use. May still try and see if my local store might take it back. Still going to be out a Jack now.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Almost A 5 Star But Be Aware

This 8,000 lb.capacity jack works just fine when all components are secure but be aware that on mine, the lower of the two large ratcheting anchor studs had the small spring keeper pin come loose and fall out. The lack of spring action means the jack is now stuck in place and non-functional. The small pin has a tamped-in, friction fit with a swaged (stamped raised grooves) center section but either the swaged edges are not high enough or the hole it fits into is slightly too large but it can work itself loose after several uses. Perhaps mine was a one-off manufacturing error. I did reuse it but applied high strength red sleeve locker to hopefully keep it in place. Otherwise, it is a fine jack - just remember to check the position of the spring retention pins before use.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Poor quality

Ended up returning, tried to use it to pull posts out of the ground, and the main beam started bending. I'm only 165 and didn't have my full body weight on the the handle. I was able to bend the beam by just standing on it and bouncing a little bit. Also the jack wouldn't go down under any type of load, even a few pounds would cause the release mechanism to bind, and I would have to tap the top of it lightly with a hammer with every click down.

No, I do not recommend this product.
