Bull Barn's Fixed Knot 8ft tall deer exclusion fence means business. Manufactured with top-quality Class 3 Galvanized high-tensile 12.5 gauge wire, this fence resists sagging or breakage from animal pressure. The fixed knot's strength prevents slipping. The rolls are 330 ft long. Graduated spacing has horizontal lines closer together at the bottom (which deters deer and small animals from crawling under or through the bottom) and further apart at the top.   • A: per a quick google search: For standard mild steel wire, posts should be 8–12 feet apart

  • A: The general rule of thumb is that at least one-third of the post's total length should be buried in the ground. This means that for a 6-foot-tall fence, the post should be at least 9 feet long, with 3 feet of it being below ground level.

Sturdy quality fence

Very sturdy fence and good quality. It is not lightweight at all. We put it up by hand and had to cut it into sections to get it up. Would recommend using a tractor as it is very heavy fencing.

Great product. Just as advertised. The 12 gauge wire is very stiff making it impossible to wrap around a post but I secured it with fencing nails and screws which is actually easier and probably stronger than a post wrap. I used my portable grinder with metal cut off wheel as the wire cutters I bought would not cut through the wire very easily. We have a lot of deer and hopefully this will keep them out of the garden!

Online order and no one locally has a clue

Ordered this item 3 weeks ago and still has not come in. I called the store manager and he said track down the manufacturer and ask myself because he can’t track the item. Very disappointed in the service related to this purchase.
