Good container-Bad Lids

Bought 2 of these recently. Using to keep bag of dog food in each. Lids will not close securely. One lid will not stay closed/secured at all. The bag in the container does not interfere with lid, or bulge container outwards, so it's not the cause of the lids problem. Recommend only if (as we do) keep food in bag and not loose food in container, otherwise it will allow too much air to the food and/or ants to eventually discover. Maybe my store just has the bad lids. Who knows.

Awesome quality US-made product. Bought 2 of these about 10 years ago and still using. Only reason I’m buying more is because I left one on the porch and a critter chewed through the lid. Tried buying just a new lid from the Buddeez, but because of the cost of shipping, it was cheaper to just buy the whole thing in store.

This is a good, solid container, and was easy to fill with the seed I ordered. My dogs don't bother it, and more importantly, neither does my cat! Now I just need a scoop for it, because I'm not strong enough to lift the whole thing with the seed in it to use the pourable lid to fill the bird feeder with the seed. Otherwise, it works as designed. The lid fits the container, nice and tight.
