Unfortunately this tool doesn't work. The spring that squeezes the grippers to the tree is not stiff enough. With a weak grip, the tool just slides up the bark.

Very disappointed.

It looks good, but you have to be Hercules in order to pull out even a small tree. The soil was wet and the "grubber" just sank into the ground when I tried to pull out a 1 1/2 in. sucker tree. I put a 2×6 under the it and very reluctantly started coming up. If this product worked you probably would have a video or at least better instruction pamphlet.
