Is this oil filter compatible with oil filter #33935, for a craftsman 3000 riding lawnmower????

Asked by: beth1
That part number you provided (33935) does not provide me with any information on your oil filter. and will not tell me if it is compatible. To find a compatible oil filter, you will first need the engines model, type, and trim. To assist you in finding that information, you will need to navigate to (www.briggsandstratton.com) and once you are there, there will be a support tab located at the top of the page, if you click this, and it will drop down into more options, on the left there will be an option to download manuals, you can then find information on where the numbers will be located on your unit. Once you have found those numbers, you can enter them in the website for a downloadable parts manual and operators manual, the parts manual will provide you with a part number for a compatible filter.

Can not find the oil filter

Wondering if my Intek 14.5 has an oil filter? It's on a Gravely mimi-zt Model 915052. Thanks
Asked by: Curt
Your engine may or may not have an oil filter. The engine's are manufactured to the specifications the equipment manufacturers would like on their product. For you reference, your engine's illustrated parts list is located here: http://bit.ly/o005Yo

I have been using oil 696854 in my Craftsman lawn tractor. I haven't been able to find the part locally. Is 492932s an acceptable replacement? (Some sites say the 492932s is the replacement for the discontinued 696854.) I am confused.

Asked by: kkr1743
696854 is still an active and available part, with no direct replacements. You can locate this part on our website here: http://www.briggsandstratton.com/us/en/shop/repair-parts#/s/BRG//696854/1
