Item Information

The OEM Briggs & Stratton Air Filter ensures proper fit and performance to maintain the life of your Briggs & Stratton engine. Many engine performance problems can be linked to maintenance issues such as stale fuel, a dirty air filter, fouled spark plug, and deteriorated oil. A great way to help avoid these problems is to perform an annual tune-up. Your outdoor power equipment's air filter provides superior protection against the destructive effects of dirt ingestion.

Does this part # replace and a precise fit for the part # provided on the sticker of my Sears Lawn tractor that reads:697153 and pre-cleaner 697015? I can't find these parts numbers anywhere on the internet but this looks just like what is now attached.

Asked by: CaptainG
Try looking for part: 795115 for your air filter, it is the updated number that should be compatible. The pre-filter (697015) should be the direct compatible replacement as well.

I can't find the air filter 591334 any where either. Nor can I find that there's been a change to a different model number for it. I see some 3rd party filters that claim they are a replacement but I'd like to have OEM if possible. Where can this be found

Asked by: ThatTractorGuy
That filter part number has superseded to 594201 and can be purchased here: bit.ly/1Rh15AQ

My 20HP Intek twin engine says air filter replacement is 591334 but I do not see this available on your website.  Is 796031 a direct replacement?  Also, is 5428K the same as 796031?

Asked by: Nick_M
You must use the part number the parts list and manuals states is needed. Not all our filters have a picture posted on the site. You can enter the part number for purchase here: http://bit.ly/11hnaSH

Is the pre-cleaner part ( 797704) needed in addition to this filter? My lawn mower did not come with a pre cleaner.
