BoostGro 200 Watt Equivalent 3,600-Lumen 4 ft. LED Grow Light, 30 Watt Full Spectrum 5,000K, 660 nm Red Light Enriched

I purchased this light to help some potted plants that we bring in for winter. I purchased it online and picked it up (a day early!) at the local Tractor Supply Co. store. I’ve had it for two weeks, long enough to see that the plants are responding well to it, as evidenced by healthy leaves and even some new flowers. I have the light connected to a plug-in timer to regulate the number of hours it’s on, and if the power goes out, this light will come back on when power comes back on. (This replaces a previous light that did not do that; there was a power outage, we were out of town, and the plants nearly died from lack of light.) The light comes with two wires to hang it, so no worries there. It does what it says it will do. Very pleased with it thus far.

This light does a good job of germinating and maintaining seedlings! When I first took it out of the box it felt very light weight but it seems very high quality for the price. You do nd a ha ma with it because it gives off very little heat. The description says they can be daisy-chained but I noticed when opening the box that no cord for that was included; it only included the cord that plugs into the wall. I'd like to buy another one so I can cover more area for the width of a 1020 tray, but need the cord that connects two together. Because it has no reflector it covers just short of the footprint and plants in one row have to lean toward the light. Instead of using the hanging wire it comes with I made an adjustable rope on each end with a slip-knot around a bamboo pole.

It would be nice to receive these lights.

This light does very well for its price point. Work within its limits, don’t try to cover to much area and your seedlings will grow fine.
