Home Fresh Better Feather is a pelleted feed designed to be fed as the sole diet to: Adult hens during the molting process. After molt, transition to Home Fresh Extra Egg Layer or remain on Home Fresh Better Feather throughout the laying cycle if additional protein is desired. Roosters to support feather growth during the molting process. Free-range adult hens and roosters during the molting process or year round. Provide fresh water at all times. The suggested feeding program is intended solely as a guide. The variables of management, environment and breed may dictate changes in the animal's dietary requirements. For additional feeding recommendations, consult your local KNG feed representative, refer to the Home Fresh Poultry brochure, or visit kentfeeds.com. Store in a cool dry place. This product may spoil if stored under adverse conditions. Do not feed this product if believed to be unfit for animal consumption.
We recommend in most cases, you slowly transition your animal when changing to a Blue Seal product or even between Blue Seal products. This allows the animal's digestive tract to properly adjust to the feed. To help with the transition, we recommend slowly mixing the new Blue Seal product in with your current feed and then gradually increase over the course of one-two week to 100% of the new Blue Seal product.
