Ripped on the first day

I bought these bibs as a backup waterproof outer layer for an upcoming trip to Antarctica. I have been using it on rainy days selling Christmas trees. It truly is waterproof, based on standing in the pouring rain for 8 hours and carrying wet pine trees. The fit provides full coverage without being restrictive. I sweat a lot and this was surprisingly no worse than my lighter hiking rain pants that are not waterproof (only water resistant). There are better bibs out there but you will pay hundreds of dollars for them. My only disappointment is that I cannot put them on without removing my boots. A version of these with zippers or buttons up the side of the legs would be ideal for me. (not just up the calves but up to at least the knee) Overall, these bibs are a great deal. I'm hoping they work well in Antarctica.

Item is waterproof but rips easily . One of my clips broke the second time wearing it, and the interior pocket, ripped open above the zipper the next day. 3 days of use and they are completely useless.
