Meet unpredictable weather head on in the Carhartt Men's Loose Fit Mid-Rise Rain Pants. These pants are the difference between being uncomfortable in the rain, and working right through it all. The lightweight, breathable shell provides a seam-sealed barrier against the elements. Large cargo pockets store essentials, and the durable, double front means you can add knee pads. There's a Carhartt embroidered 'C' on the front and a Carhartt label sewn on the back of the pants.

New material is too thin.

I really don't like the new materials that they use for these pants, the old ones offered much more protection. The material is too thin and when you have to crawl under a house. The Rocks hurt because there's not enough material.

Absolutely perfect. Ease of movement and totally dry during our hiking experiences in Iceland. One of the things you hear a lot about there is having WINDPROOF clothing as well as waterproof. These pants did a fantastic job.

The pants are solid like the jacket. BUT the drawstring to keep up the pants isn't the right thing to keep these pants from creeping down. May be design the waist with elastic belt inside the waist. the belt has silts for the buttons to adjust the size of the waist. The best expanse are toddlers pants. inside the waist is a stretchy belt with silts. Once you have the desired size, you attach the belt to the buttons using the silts on the belt.
