I like the item. I've used it 3 times so far. I just followed the instructions for seasoning and setup wasn't hard. I wouldn't mind the newer version with the lid like a normal grill. It was easy to purchase online and pickup in store.

I never got the complete grill.

I tried to order a Blackstone Griddle from the store in Lakeland Florida but my order was sent to the Plant City store for fulfillment. It was delivered to me that day by Uber. In addition to the grill looking like it had some nicks and scratches the entire left shelf was missing. I tried contacting customer service the next morning at 8 am and was on hold almost an hour. When I got a customer service person, he called the store and said they would bring the shelf to us that morning. Since then I have called the store several times a day for 2 days and every time I call they say the part is on the truck and it will be delivered soon. They also say someone will be calling me and no one ever did. I am currently trying to reach customer service and have been on hold for an hour. I think they close in 6 minutes. I bought the extended warranty also. This has been the worst experience. I am having to call these people while I'm at work and all I get is lies.
No, I do not recommend this product.
