[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My neighbor gave me a full bag of Sensitive Skin & Coat Ocean Fish Meal & Oat Recipe to try. Her dog would not eat it. I have 3 dogs of different breeds, Australian Shepherd, Yorkie, and Yorkipoo. My Aussie will eat almost anything but my two little dogs won't. To my surprise, the yorkie and Yorkipoo ate this food better than my Aussie did but they weren't thrilled about it. I make my own dog food with chicken, rice, and vegetables. I top store bought dry kibble (normally Purina One, beef) with my homemade food occasionally. I served Black Gold w/topper and I offered it w/o the homemade on top. My yorkies only ate it if I topped it. They readily eat the Purina One kibble without topper. Maybe they do not like fish. It is too expensive to buy different flavors to find out. I really wish dog food companies would make sample size bags with a couple servings in them so consumers can try before they buy. The pet industry as a whole is terribly greedy. Money is wasted buying bags of food that dogs end up not tolerating for whatever reason. I guess dog food companies don't care if your dog likes it or not as long as they are making money.

This food has been great for my dogs

Been feeding for 6 months to all my adults and fosters. Hoping to feed to foster pups soon. I have doodles, Poodle, Aussies and Bully Mix momma with pups. Everyone is eating this food except pups. My picky girls love this food. The ingredients are great compared to other brands for sensitive skin. My poodle has a sensitive stomach and this food seems to be digesting well. Texture of food doesn't bother my Doodle. She is weird about that. Great formulation & great Nutrition. My dogs look excellent and have great shiny coats, great stools and awesome energy!!
