- A: Hi there, Thank you for reaching out. Providing the netting is installed as very tight and structurally sound as possible, the birds will not get entangled in the netting. The netting should not be loose, for tight vertical support, we recommend a minimum of ½” diameter rebar stakes driven into the ground 1 ft to 2ft deep. Then spacing the rebar every 5 to 10 feet depending on the size of application area.3 years agoHelpful?

Excellent quality!!! Yes it seems expensive but it is very durable and much easier to work with than cheaper netting. Keeps birds and pets out of the garden.

This is VERY substantial bird netting! I believe it would keep out most critters in North America unless they happened to have a box cutter and opposable thumbs. Hopefully no primates have managed to make it this far north (Minnesota). All other bird netting is snaggy, whimpy and thin compared to this product. Perhaps Arnold Swartzenager could get through it with his bare hands but most of us mortals would only end up with cut up hands if we tried it. This stuff is serious bird netting. Buy it. You won't regret it.
