Q: Some reviews say that the 25 X 25 netting is not a true dimension. Is this correct? Also what is the material and is it UV protected?

- A: My experience is that it is 25x25. My fenced area was 24x24 and it covered it nicely with several inch overlap all around, and with some stretching i was able to sink 8' boards in the center for a nice arch. This is top quality netting and you wont be disappointed.Anonymous5 years agoHelpful?

Q: What is the tensile breaking point of this product or how many pounds of pressure can it handle. I want to use it to keep hawks out and cats in. It will be used as the roof of an enclosure.

- A: The HD-PE NET is 6 strands, each with 52 lbs. of break strength that totals 312 lbs. The net is a 52 lbs. tensile strength.7 years agoHelpful?
Q: Could it be used as a back stop for a lacrosse goal? Could it stop 70 mph shots with a lacrosse ball?

- A: This product has not been tested for use in lacrosse. Though its heavy duty construction should not allow a lacrosse ball to penetrate, this product is not intended to be used in that way.7 years agoHelpful?
Q: Can snow get through and not pile up on top? Will birds get tangled in this? This is going to be used for a chicken run cover. There are lots of birds in the area.

- A: Snow will not pile up on the net. Birds cannot get tangled in the net because it would be stretched out very tight, per installation instructions.8 years agoHelpful?

Great product

Wonderful product. Last year I used the cheap Bird X netting. It was a nightmare. It sticks to itself and anything else. So it damages the blueberries pulling many off while covering plants. Then it got worse. Birds that got in were trapped and stuck in the net. 2 of them strangled after putting their heads through a net hole. I had to tear up or cut the net many times to untangle birds' wings to free them. So it could not be reused.
This new Bird X is much more expensive, but it is of professional quality. It is strong and slippery, so even thou my blueberries were ripening, I could cover the row and adjust the fit without losing any berries. No birds are being hurt or killed. And I will certainly be able to use this net next year. I am very satisfied.

Bird x netting

I like it I have small dogs have a 20'x20'x6' pen put up a pergola 7'tall by 10'x10' stretched the net out over the whole pen and hooked it to the chain link fence now my dogs should be alot safer from hawks, owls and eagles we will see how it last just got it up today.

Ship to store took too long

Took 19 days to get to the store. I told them i no longer wanted it. The netting did appear to be well constructed.
