My hose didn't come with the cut off valve at the nozzle. When I took the hose out of the box and tried to stretch it out it became a snarly twisted mess. (No kinks though). Once I got it mostly straightened out it became a game of chasing the twists. Frustrated, I wound the hose onto the hose reel, thinking that maybe that might help. Nope. So I stretched it out again and rewound it. Better but still ugly. I rationalized that it would settle in with a little use. I hooked it up to the spigot and wanted to check for leaks. No leaks. I then tested the nozzle. As soon as I opened it up all the twisty, snarlys went away and everything was like it is supposed to be like. For your benefit... Take the hose out of the box, get it mostly straight, hook it up and run water through it. Now you can store your hose without fighting the Twisties.

I always had trouble gathering up my old house because it was so heavy and it was hard to hold it all but with the Bionic Steel Pro Hose I have no problems I'm definitely switching
