The Torin Big Red TRT1111 1,100 lb. Single-Speed Manual Geared Hand Winch is a great tool that offers quality lifting and towing aid up to 1,100 pounds. This winch is a must have utility to make short pulling distances easier and lifting large or heavy items. Designed for easy mounting on pickup trucks, ATV's, boats, trailers, lifting grain augers, and general use for multipurpose hauling or lifting/pulling of light loads such as volleyball nets. A manual-automatic locking brake system gives you security for load transport and stability. This winch also features a comfortable nylon handle for turning the Single-speed planetary gear for efficient, easy cranking for rotating fast or slow on heavy loads. Zinc-plated finish for superior corrosion resistance is applied to ensure a long-lasting finish and to help prevent rust, helping resistant bad weather and outdoor elements. Tested for reliability and safety.

It's Junk

Used this wench on an inflatable rib, about 800 lbs. Five months later and the locking mechanism has stripped the gears and won't stay tight. I would not recommend this wench.

Absolute Garbage

Purchased in store so I didn't see the negative reviews. Have a super light aluminum boat, and the tooth that grabs the gear snapped off after the 5th use. Purchased in winter so I'm over the 30 day return window.
