I BOUGHT MINE 2 YEARS AGO AT TSC. I LIKE IT WHEN THE FRONT LEGS FOLD VERTICLE ALLOWING IT TO TAKE UP LESS SPACE DURING STORAGE. I HAVE PULLED SEVERAL ENGINES FROM PICKUPS, CARS, AND LAWN MOWERS. IT IS VERY VERSITLE AND IM HAPPY WITH IT!

Great engine hoist!

Handled easily my Ford SBF 427 with Tremec TKO tranny attached. The whole weight was probably around 800Lbs. Used the 1/2 ton boom position (the farthest) and didn’t notice any hoist instability whatsoever. I don’t think this will handle an abuse of regular auto shop daily use, but for some occasional DIY garage work it is perfect, especially considering it is foldable and takes little square footage when stored.

Missing parts

The box was very damaged and a few parts were missing. One of the casters was gone and one of the pins that hold the legs in position was also missing. I bought a caster and pin at Lowe's in order to complete the assembly. Works fine though.

All bolts were there, in place already.
Works very well without tipping. Struggled with a cheap one i bought ended up dropping the engine and transmission. This one handles them both easily,doesn't even make a sound 👍 👌
