This Torin Big Red 1,250 lb. Engine Stand is ideal for engine blocks and display engines. A 360 deg swiveling head on the engine stand rotates and locks into eight different positions for complete access during builds. The mounting plate of the engine stand includes 4 adjustable arms for maximum adjustment. Four ball bearing casters make moving and storing engines more secure. Some assembly required. The Big Red engine stand is tested for reliability and safety to meet ASME PALD standards.

This works so far to hold up a ford 351W. It leaned a bit while the engine was fully loaded with all the accessories,but not so much as to make me think it would fall over.
Just as an FYI,this will not work with the Big Red hoist(SKU 0116746). The legs simply run into each other.
I got around this by using a longer chain,attaching the removable mount,then using some friends to lift and push the mount back into the stand. Not sure how I'm going to get the engine back off without it swinging wildly,but that's something for another day.

Not good, dosent work with eng in ne hoist due to leg width issues. Cant use hoist to lower engine onto the stand without difficulty. Rated for 1250lbs- no way. I have a 4.2 jeep I6 on this right now and its killing it. Scared to leave it on. Bending at every joint.

So-so item. Didn't come with the right quantity or size of washers... I shouldn't have to spend this much ..and then have to go spend more money to replace parts incorrectly packaged at the factory...
