Benazepril Hydrochloride Tablets are prescribed for cats and dogs to treat various conditions, including heart failure, kidney disease, and high blood pressure.. Benazepril prevents a blood chemical called angiotensin I from converting to a more potent type, increasing water and salt retention within the body.
