Q: My land i need to fence has some rises and flat changes. How would i make this fence work? for exampe it slopes on a angle at some point, then a smaller sloped run.

- A: On a severe terrain change the fence may need a bias cut. Bias cut is the process of cutting a few inches of wire out of slack line wires caused by steep terrain changes to tighten them up individually. Q: We are looking for fence to build rings around small trees to keep the deer from eating them. Will this fence stand up on its own with a 5 ft diameter? We plan on using one T post for support.

- A: This product in a 5' diameter circle should keep the deer out. However, the product will not stand alone if any animal pressure is placed against it, it will collapse. If you are going to use the T-Posts you mention as a rigid backbone this fabric should work just fine. Drive 4 or 5 T-Posts in a circle around the tree, place the wire fabric around the outside of the T-Post circle and tie the wire fabric to said T-Posts, and you should be just fine. Deer tend not to jump over a fence into a small, confided space but there is always that possibility but highly unlikely.10 months agoHelpful?

While planning my fencing project I couldn’t wait to buy the iconic Red Brand fence with that red top wire. That is until I fenced my garden with 6’ x 330’ of Red Brand fencing. The sagging wire was a complete eye sore. No matter how tight you pulled the wire there would be sags. You can fix these sags with a quick turn of a hammer to “kink” the wire OR you can buy Bekaert high tensile fencing and have a professional looking fence from the start. After running a half mile of Bekaert over uneven terrain, across headgates etc Bekaert high tensile is the only fencing I’ll buy.

Used this with T-Posts and it worked perfectly!! The only recommendation that I can provide is to purchase the post clips as the free ones are not great for this use.
