Q: Seems like water in it would get real hot. I'm curious if I can use it for a makeshift birdbath with flagstone and a bubbler. But I don't want to cook my birds! Is this safe to use outside in semi shade?

Not a good choice for holding water for chickens

These looked like the solution to my chicken waterer and a decent price. Well, after three months, two of the three pans have corroded. I changed the water every day, and still they rusted. They sure looked nice for a while. I won't use them for water any more.
