Not a good choice for holding water for chickens

These looked like the solution to my chicken waterer and a decent price. Well, after three months, two of the three pans have corroded. I changed the water every day, and still they rusted. They sure looked nice for a while. I won't use them for water any more.

Using this to feed chickens fruit and veggies. Have both 1gal and 3 gal sizes. On hot days using the large one as a cooling station. Add 3 bricks, ice and water. Chicken stands on the bricks to cool off.Al’s
