- A: It is common for the Barn Star (BNS) 33pc Security Bit Set and similar compact sets to have extremely tight plastic bit holders that make manual removal difficult If bits are stuck in the plastic storage base or the included adapter, try these methods: Twist While Pulling: Instead of pulling straight up, use a twisting motion as you pull. This often breaks the initial friction or suction holding the bit in place. Rubber Band Grip: Wrap a rubber band around the bit to increase your grip and leverage before pulling. Leverage with a Flathead: Carefully slide a small flathead screwdriver under the shoulder of the bit to pry it upward from the base. Pliers with Protection: If you must use pliers, wrap the bit in a piece of rubber or heavy cloth first to avoid marring the metal.a month agoHelpful?
