This classic Ashley 34K BTU Vent-Free Propane Gas Firebox is designed to fit any heating application and room style. By itself, this propane gas firebox kit can be placed in zero clearance fireplaces and custom mantle applications. The propane gas firebox can also be installed as a conversion Fireplace Insert with the optional Insert kit. The propane and gas fireplace can also function as a free standing classic stove with cast iron queen legs by adding the optional leg kit. Finally, it can be purchased with Ashley's unfinished oak mantle kit to add a fireplace mantle to any wall and room. This propane gas firebox is available in both natural gas and propane valve configurations. Adding to the style of this fireplace are the wonderfully realistic logs and burner set that provide a lifelike flame. Best of all, this unit is Vent free so you don't need to install a chimney and it is 99% efficient.

Q: What are the full measurements. As in, this is a trapezoidal prosm, not a cube, in the description it says 38x 23.75. I assume that is the front measurement.

Will replace with another brand.

Installed with a thermostat (not included). Worked great for the 1st year. Have to get maintenance/repair on a yearly basis for unit to perform like it’s supposed to. After 2 years, blower making noises and 5 years has stopped working. More maintenance again this year as well…tired of spending more money on this unit every year.

Purchased for living room area. Not hooked up yet. Having problems finding someone to do so. Many won't touch it because it is unvented. Too late in season--going to TX for winter, will probably hook it up myself in spring. Legs are supposed to be available but could find only two retailers. One was out of stock and back ordered. Price seems exorbitant @ xx per leg.
