Assembly and installation of the stove went well and took about 20-30 minutes. Logs were packed securely and arrived unbroken. Everything was good until it came to the programming (learning) of the remote control. Followed the instructions in the booklet and could not get it to operate. After two hours, I found a separate sheet in the box with another set of instructions for the remote. Following the second set of instructions, I was able to get the remote to work. How much effort would it have taken to cover up the remote instructions in the book with a sticker informing the user to use the supplemental instructions for programing the remote?

Bought this to heat part of house works good other than the fact twice now it did not shut off when it should have. Good luck contacting the company for warranty. No one answering phones and says to email them.

A day after this was installed, my area had its first power outage. It was rainy, windy, cold. I was toasty warm. Yes it's not a real woodstove, but it's attractive.
