The Ashley 17.25 in. Propane Gas Direct-Vent Heater makes the perfect solution for zoned heating. With a space-saving direct-vent furnace design, the wall heater mounts to an exterior wall. An adjustable vent assembly on the unit adjusts to fit walls from 4-1/2 in. to 10 in. thick. For clean, comfortable heat when and where you want it, the gas flame is completely sealed inside the vented propane heater, away from all contact with room air.

Q: It says it has an adjustable vent assembly that adjusts to fit walls from 4-1/2 inches to 10 inches thick. I'm building an ice shack where the walls are going to be 3 inches thick. Would this still work for me?

I have been needing to replace my wall heater for a while and have finally been able to replace it with this Ashley Hearth 11k BTU wall heater. I could not be happier! Warms up my house so well! It was easy to install for a professional DIYer. Directions are easy to follow and understand as well. I highly recommend and know that you won’t be disappointed!

While it takes a while to setup and get ready. Once it is all set up it works great. Emits a lot of heat. Warms up very quickly and keeps the room nice and warm. Very effective and works great.
