Arnold Universal Lawn Mower Throttle Control

A: Hi LouG! Steps are shown on the back of the packaging, and in our product documents tab. 1. Loosen, but do not remove, screw securing throttle wire assembly at engine. Remove old throttle control assembly. 2. Mount new throttle control assembly on handle and move throttle control lever to “fast” position. 3. Insert end of inner wire (Fig. B) into hole on the lever on the carburetor as shown in Fig. A. Leave securing screw loose. 4. Move lever, to which control wire is fastened at carburetor, to full open position and retighten screw to secure control cable. Secure control cable to handle with plastic fasteners. 5. Move lever to “stop” position then back to “start” position to check movement of carburetor lever. The carburetor lever should move completely to its stop and start positions. Note: If carburetor lever does not have complete movement, repeat steps 2, 3 & 4. 6. Reconnect spark plug wire. Mower is ready to operate.
