Ariat Women's Terrain Ease Waterproof Shoes

These used to be my favorite barn shoes, but my most recent purchase is disappointing. The seam where the shoe bottom and upper connect is too big and rubs my heel sore and is very uncomfortable. They also seem to now run a bit small. Ironically I bought 2 pairs of boots from Ariat and one is too small and one is too big- both purchased in same size. i think it is time to move on to a different vendor. They just aren't what they used to be.

Nice sturdy shoe, a little snug on first wearing but gradually getting broke in. Waterproof and comfortable.

Extremely comfortable but they are difficult to clean and the stitching fails after very little use. The Ariat cleaning products are expensive and result in a poor finish - the shoes look scruffy in a short time. Worse still, the stitching comes apart where the foot bends on the top of the foot. Ariat suggested I contact their partner repair organisation but I decided to use a local cobbler (likely cheaper). Ariat products are expensive but the quality isn't there - had problems with boots too.
