This grain grinder comes with four different sieves: 1.5 mm (1/16 in.), 3 mm (1/8 in.), 5 mm (3/16 in.), and 7 mm (1/4 in.), to grind as fine or as coarse as you like. The durable 1.6 HP motor can safely handle up to 450 pounds per hour. The electric grain grinder itself weighs just 21 pounds, making it easy to handle for everyone in the family!

Best I could find, at an affordable price

We use this to "crack" corn for cattle feed. Coming assembled, we were up and running in minutes. To do a 50 pound batch requires less than 10 minutes. The way it grinds, using the largest sieve screen, still pulverizes the corn providing a far amount of powder. Cows don't seem to mind. I wonder if a larger hole would provide the rough texture I want? (the manufacturer doesn't offer anything with bigger holes)

Cheap and Unreliable

This is the Fiat of feed grinders. After a few uses, I had to buy a box and wire in a US Switch since the EU version is unavailable in rural areas. I needed it to grind corn for chickens.
Even with the most coarse plate, about 1/2 of the corn comes out like flour with an inconsistent feed. That is a problem.
Today the motor overheated and quit. I probably will need to try and find a new motor or simply throw this into a scrap heap.
It’s EU junk being sold at Tractor Supply.
Don’t waste your money on this thing. It is low quality, has bad components, and is simply no good.

Buy extra switches

I use this to mill grain for my distillery (small batches). It blew a switch after about a year of use. Keep in mind I'm talking about 300 lbs once a month. I just blew another switch after about another year or so of use.
Surprise, surprise, they sell switches here.......not saying they are doing it to make money. But there is clearly a known issue with this product.
Aside from that. For the price it's not bad.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Solid construction.

Works great, fairly fast and loud. Is of good solid construction and I believe it will last many years. Unfortunately it says not suitable for human food but does not explain why, suspect eu regulations so will clean and sterilize if I decide to use it for food.

Great Little Grinder

I've been using this grinder for 2 years and it's performed really well for what it is. It's a bit slow on the finer plates, but it has no trouble with the corn, oats, and whole roasted soybeans I've put through it. I'm surprisingly pleased with it.
