The Alfred DB2 Smart Deadbolt Door Lock with Key is our keyed-entry lock option, allowing you to use a custom key as backup. This smart deadbolt door lock features an elegant key entry point with a swivel cover and the same touch screen operation as the DB2. The smart door lock includes Bluetooth connectivity for one-touch access, allowing you to simply touch the unit while your phone is nearby to open the lock.
- Add the Alfred connect Wi-Fi system (sold separately) with your Alfred DB2 series smart lock to allow you to control your lock remotely away from home via the Alfred Home App
- Simply touch the keypad to unlock your door when you arrive home; no more fumbling with keys (Alfred Home app required)
- Includes a SC1 keyway override cylinder and 2 physical keys just in case you're not ready to let those keys go
- Smart door lock will alert you when the battery levels are low
- Connect to 3rd party smart home hubs like Smart Things, Vera, Ezlo, Ring Alarm and Hubitat with the addition of an Alfred Z-wave module (sold separately)
- Easy DIY install by replacing your existing deadbolt; download the free BILT app which will walk you step by step through a set of digital install videos
- No moving parts or buttons; only a touch screen and key override (see DB2 model if you want to go keyless)
- Voice prompts in 5 different languages; English, French, Spanish, Portuguese and Mandarin
- Smart door lock comes in 3 distinct colors; black, chrome or gold
- Gain access to Google Assistant and Alexa to be able to control your lock with your voice
- Should your batteries fail, the lock can be powered via a micro-USB port on the bottom of the front panel

I've had an Alfred DB1 for a few years and I recently added the DB2 to my front door. I've exclusively used the DB1 for my basement as we have a detached garage.
I wanted to add smart functionality to my front door and the DB2 looked best with my hardware finish. My favorite features is number of pin codes I can use. I have a weekly house cleaner and a daily dog walker. I assign them new codes weekly, and it's been great feature to have. Make sure you buy a wi-fi module as well!
