Pond aerators increase water circulation and saturate your pond with life-giving oxygen, providing long-term benefits and reducing overall maintenance. Without aeration, your pond becomes layered with varying temperatures, known as Thermal Stratification. In the winter, the water flow created by the aerator forms a hole in the ice, releasing toxic gases, eliminating stratification, and stopping winter fish kills. Aeration provides additional benefits. Not recommended for a pool. The Shallow Water Series operates up to 6 feet deep. It features a highly efficient compressor with rubber mounts to reduce noise and vibrations and ensure a silent operation. Kits include diffusers and airline tubing. The large motor pumps up to 4.9 CFM of oxygen to your pond. Diffusers (also called a bubbler or oxygenator) feature membrane sticks to release tiny bubbles into the water. Each cabinet cover is made of a durable composite that covers and protects the aerator equipment, manifold, valve, and power elements. Cover also protects from rain, wind, and other harsh weather. Includes a high-density air intake filter that protects against contaminants.
