Good warmth with some work

It's great to have warm feet by using the heated insoles. It can be a lot of work taking out the existing insoles in a pair of shoes so the heated insoles can be used. I want to use them in a number of different boots and shoes. I wish there were a better way.

Perfectly functional boot heat

These are a great idea for shoes that you will always need the heat in. I was originally looking for electric socks, but was concerned about the comfort of the battery pack further up the ankle or calf while wearing them with tall fire boots. Socks would be more versatile, and could could serve in any shoe, but the soles appeared to fit my needs specifically. The remote worked remarkably well, but getting positive feedback from the insole when turned on or off was less practical. The indicator light is at the back of the heel and is difficult to see when the insole is fully seated in the boot. I have settled on having it almost fully in place and sticking the fabric flap out of the way so I can more easily see the power light.
