Tried this for the first time. I have 5 cats and they all loved it. I will definitely buy this again and include in the rotation of wet food.

Cats wouldn’t eat it

I bought two versions of this pate cat food (thinking I was getting some shredded meat in it. Guess I missed where it may have informed that it was just pate). My cat never has a massive appetite, so I can never guage if he really likes something or not, though he meows continuously at meal times and follows me everywhere until I have fed him, lol. My low score though is due to the smell. If your cat isn't finishing all of the food in a sitting, get ready for a swarm of gnats. I was rinsing out the containers before I put them in the trash but still kept smelling something horrible and thus taking the trash bag out long before it was full. Me rinsing the cans made no difference when the bits of food left that I put in the trash smelled so badly. I finally have had enough. I've boiled hot water and scrubbed out the trash can and this evening and instead of the pate, I just gave him some of the low-quality kibble I have left from when I got him a few months ago. What I might do is severely cut back on the amount of the pate I give him and still mix it with a little dry food, as I've been doing. O'll refridgerate the remaining soft food until the next meal. But once this soft food is done, I'm going back to the Meow Mix soft food I was getting before and will instead do the Untamed dry kibble. I'm happy Untamed uses higher ingredients but as an apartment dweller who has to make a walk to the dumpster every time I take out the trash, the smell this food produces just doesn't work for me. Or maybe I'll give the food to the shelter if they'll take it.
