Fixed our dog's coat problems

Our lab mix was having problems with some sort of allergy which was making her lose hair. Our vet suggested we try a higher quality dog food. We tried a couple before stumbling on 4Health which was cheaper than other brands that don't have all the processed junk in them. It made her coat shiny and healthy and neither of my dogs had any problems with digestion with this product. It seems to make them eliminate less often, too, which is great!

Formula change?

We've been feeding this food to our bulldogs for the past four years. They've always done well on it, up until about September of this year. We opened a new bag, and one of our dogs starting throwing up when she'd eat it and began refusing it altogether. Another dog had an autoimmune disorder flare up within a week of opening the new bag of food, I'd bet triggered by an allergy to something in the food. All started showing signs of an allergy; yeasty ears, tear staining, itching and paw chewing. They had no other dietary changes. I really question if the formula of the food was changed without notification to consumers. Very disappointed, as it's not easy to find something that they can all eat. This was good, until recently.

TOO HARD, ease up on the crunchiness of the food.

I gave this three stars for only one reason the kibbles are WAY too hard. I have 3 dogs all different ages from young to old. They desperately want to eat it and try but they can’t crush the kibbles with their teeth. I realized the issue when I saw my smaller dog would go eat the crumbs from the other dogs that were trying their hardest to bite through them. My dogs always eat every bit of their food and they were leaving over half in their bowl and walking away so I knew something was wrong. I took a mallet and started crushing the kibbles for my small dog into smaller pieces which was like crushing rocks they were so hard. My little dog had no issues after crushing the kibbles. So for my younger bigger dogs who eat EVERYTHING and they also were having a hard time, I added some water to let the kibble soak and both big dogs ate it without issues. Even after soaking them for 5 minutes they still had a good amount of crunch to them. I can only imagine how hard these dogs were trying crush these kibbles. So from now on I will soften these before I give them to the dogs to eat. For everyone who is noticing their dogs are strangely walking away from the food like our dogs did try soaking them in warm water. This is going to help them tremendously. As for the company that makes this dog food, please ease up on the crunchiness of this food. We want our dogs to love it so we can keep buying your product. Other than the food being too hard, (after softening it) our dogs love it.
