10 months ago- A: Hi Neighbor- This item is IPS.10 months agoHelpful?
Q: Can this pipe be connected to a city water meter?
2 years ago- A: Please research local city and state ordnances concerning the requirements for what can and can't be connected to water meters before purchase.2 years agoHelpful?
Q: Can this pipe heavy enough to be used on a deep well from the well head to the submersible pump?.
5 years ago- A: Unfortunately I do not understand the question. This item is 7.5 lb.5 years agoHelpful?
Q: What is the UV rating for this product (X2-1160100 1" coil pipe)? Also, is it safe for drinking water?
5 years ago- A: To protect PE pipe during extended outdoor storage against the effects of the sun’s ultraviolet (UV) radiation–which over time can damage most plastics – PE pipe compositions include additives that either physically screen or chemically absorb UV rays. Yes, it is safe for drinking water.5 years agoHelpful?
Q: Is the I. D. 1 inch?
Anonymous5 years ago- A: Yes. 1” i.d. Works with the 1” barbed slip on connection5 years agoHelpful?
Q: is this available in 200 ft length
5 years ago- A: They sell in 100' and 300'5 years agoHelpful?
Q: Is this 1" ID
5 years ago- A: Yes, it was 1-inch ID5 years agoHelpful?
Q: Is this pipe usable? With mcLeroy fusing equipment or do I have to buy inserts?
6 years ago- A: The manufacturer advised that this is not the correct poly pipe to use with fusion equipment. You would need to use barbed fittings with clamps as well.6 years agoHelpful?
Q: Is this for supplying household water supply from the main
7 years ago- A: Typically a water service line off a city main is either CTS (copper tube size) or SIDR7. Both are rated for 250 psi. The 160 could be used for lower pressure water well systems.6 years agoHelpful?
Q: Is this CTS sized pipe? I see online purchasing connections can be confusing between "standard" PVC barbed fittings (which is iron pipe size also) and then there is thick walled (Copper tubing sized) fittings. Any idea which is this? Thanks!
