- A: BEST investment I ever made. I purchased 3 in July, 2019. My 30 Angus brood cows have yet to figure out how to destroy them. The bottom of the troughs are slightly V shaped with a drain hole at each end. 10 inches deep on sides and 12. Inches down the middle. The legs are precast into the bottom of the troughs. Needs final touches

The finish on the concrete was sloppy. The feeders never were touched up after the molds were removed. This resulted in flaking edges and uneven surfaces. The main body and base of these feeders do seem to be of good quality however.
