This old-fashioned bleeding heart, also known as Lamprocapnos spectabilis, features the largest, pleasantly pink flowers of the group, delicate pink and white blooms in spring. It has a round growth habit, reaching 30 inches tall and wide, and blooms from May through June. It may go dormant in mid-summer but will reflourish with sufficient moisture and shade.
