Synovex C Livestock Implants are used to trigger increased growth, weight gain and feed efficiency in beef calves. They're made with a unique blend of growth stimulants and are designed for simple and safe administration. Ideal for calves weighing less than 400 lb. Each box contains 10 cartridges, or 100 doses, of Synovex C implants.How it Works
Synovex C implants use the steroid hormones testosterone propionate and estradiol benzoate to increase the accumulation of weight in steers, as well as to increase the efficiency of gains during feeding intervals.
Special Precautions
Do not administer in humans. Applicable only in animals. Be sure to only plant pellets in the ear-alternative location will rest in a violation of federal law. A withdrawal interval in pre-ruminating calves has not been determined. Not to be given to calves intended as veal.
Overdose Information
Immediately contact your closest emergency animal hospital or vet.
Side Effects
Calves given Synovex C can result in the following side effects:
- Bulling
- Rectal and vaginal prolapse
- Udder development
- Ventral edema
- Elevated tailheads
Storage
Store in a dry and cool environment between temperatures of 59° to 86°F (15° to 30°C). Avoid extreme heat.

Tips
Synovex S can serve as a re-implant replacing a primary Synovex C or Synovex S implant within roughly seventy days.

Not for oral administration. Subcutaneously Implant the complete contents of one cartridge cell per calf in the middle one-third of the ear at each implanting. Approved implantation technique is fully described in the package insert. Synovex C is recommended for use in suckling beef calves up to approximately 400 lb. of body weight. Synovex C is also recommended for improvement in rate of weight gain in steers weighing greater than 400 pounds and fed in confinement for slaughter when used as part of a re-implant program in which an initial Synovex C implant is followed at approximately 70 days by Synovex S.
