A few notes for the manufacturer. First, The packing nut and seal around the pump plunger was not tight at all out of the box. It leaked right away. I think I was able to tighten this, but it just didn't feel good while I was tightening it. Second, the supplied male nipple filler had a severe defect out of the box that kept it from working properly. I couldn't get it pass any grease with ease. After I had myself covered in grease from failed attempts, I put the male nipple, just itself, no grease gun, on the female filler and couldn't get it to reliably pass any grease, it would act like it was plugged up. Now listen, the problem I discovered was the spring inside holding the check ball wasn't strong enough. The spring was allowing the check ball to pass to the other end and stop it up disallowing any grease to pass. In my collection of springs, I was able to find one slightly longer and stiffer that allowed it work properly. Third, why is there a hole in the top of the red lid? The lid should be solid, so as not to let in trash or dust. This should have been a 10 minute job to assemble and use this gresae pump. Instead it took 2-3 hours.
