  • A: I would recommend it not being consumed. It will not effect animals that lick the tags.

I originally bought one to mark cow / calf tags. However, I soon found that they work great to mark anything that is plastic. I sold my cows over 10 years ago but, I still keep one of these around to mark other plastic items (i.e.. chemical jugs that "LOVE" to loose their labels).
