“Ground Cloth” it isn’t. More $ for nothing great.

TLDR: no thicker or tougher than the Riggs Twill work shirts, less comfortable, but more expensive.
Normally we buy only the Riggs Twill Long-sleeve that are 100% cotton. They are very tough, but soft, breathable, and comfortable.
We saw this “Ground Cloth” shirt, more expensive, only 50-60% cotton, but thought to try it, hoping it would be stronger, more heavyweight and canvas-ish, perhaps duck, like Dickies carpenter pants. NOPE.
Feels exactly the same weight as the twill. Has some 2% Lycra synthetic stretch which is not a bad thing, but if the shirt fits well, then it is not necessary. Husband says it feels synthetic on, doesn’t move or breathe as well.
(The twills were $29.99 in October 2026, the “Ground cloth” $39.99. Save the ten bucks.)

Love it but...

Just bought it and I LOVED this shirt, only thing about it is that sizes online are a lot bigger compared to local Wrangler stuff. Had to change it for a large and it still kinda big. Im just gonna keep it at this point. But keep this in mind, if you train and got some size just order your regular size.
