Light weight for southern heat

I've now had several pairs of these jeans. They are my go to jeans for outdoor work. I live in southern Louisiana so the light weight material is just what I need in the summer heat. It no doubt is more susceptible to wear being a lighter material but I have used my for several years and haven't found the light weight material to be an issue. Also, the side pocket is what I wanted to carry my phone and I've gotten so used having a proper place for my phone I don't like wearing other pants. The only issue I wish they would address is the inseam length. I wear a 29 and these only come in 30 and above so I have to take the time and money to have the legs taken up. Seems like this should be an easily solvable problem.

Ripped after 5 minutes

I bought two pairs, charcoal and khaki. Within 5 minutes of wearing them they ripped from the belt loop down to the inseam. Mind you they ripped when I was getting into my car, I wasn't even doing anything strenuous. I was hesitant buying ripstop pants and rightly so. I guess they aren't ripstop, they are rip go pants. I would attach a photo of the pants, but I am currently stuck at work wearing the pants. For how much these pants cost you would assume that they would last longer than 5 minutes. They are comfortable pants that fit nicely but the materials used are not good.
No, I do not recommend this product.
